Nestled on a wooded mountain just five
miles west of historical Hancock , MD you will find Happy Hills Campground for
your fun and relaxation. There are 285 camping site and 9 cabins. Enjoy the
changing seasons on our 350 beautiful mountain acres of trees and trails. In any
season with unique mountain atmosphere, we have miles of hiking; or walk to the
C & O Canal National Park where you can hike, ride your bike for miles in
view of the beautiful Potomac River. There is also a rails and trails bike path
just recently completed where you can ride your bike for miles on a hard
surface. Other Facilities include. Easy walking distance of well maintained
washrooms and showers. Laundry facilities. Propane filling station. General Store. Public telephone. Sanitary disposal station. Ice. Firewood. Pavilion. Game Room. People who patrol the campground
to help the campers.
